Heart beats when practising different sports

Here you have a graphic, which is the best method for you all to come to the realisation about how many times your heart beats per minute when you are:

  • Running continuously (continuous method)
  • Playing handball
  • Running fast and slow in intervals (interval method)

What you can see in the graphic is that when you run in continuous method, you more or less have the same heart beats per minute during the different laps, while in handball it varies from time to time depending if you have been defending or running while attacking. It happens the same in interval running method, in which heart rate varies a lot in each lap.
